Dauda Adeyemi ARIYOOSU is a Reader in the Department of Business Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin with over 15 years of university teaching, research, and administrative experience. He has served as Acting Head of the Department, Faculty Postgraduate Representative on the PG Board, and Sub-Dean (Admin) Postgraduate School. His areas of research interest cover Telecommunications Law, Tax Law, Law of Intellectual Property, Company Law, and Industrial Law.

He is a notary public and a member of many professional bodies both within and outside Nigeria such as the Nigerian Association of Law Teachers, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), Institute of Legal Executives of Nigeria and National Labour Institute. He has about 50 published works to his credit in reputable outlets both nationally and internationally as journal articles, chapters in books, books, and conference proceedings.
