Prof. M.T. Adekilekun is a Professor of Law in the Faculty of Law at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He worked briefly with the Law firm of Yusuf O. Ali & Co. in Ilorin where he acquired experience in the various areas of legal practice before joining the University of Ilorin. He was the Head of Department of the Department of Business Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin from 2020-2022. He is a procurement expert who has taught and published several articles in reputable journals. He is a recipient of several academic prizes and distinctions including the Excellence Award Certificate for Ph.D. completion in less than 3 years issued by the University of Malaya. He is a member of the Procurement Law Academic Network (PLAN), UK: Member Law Teachers Association of Nigeria, and also a Member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA). His main areas of research are Company Law, Public-Private Partnerships, Legal and Regulatory Reforms, Election Petitions, and alternative dispute resolution.
