Hafsat Iyabo SA’ADU is a Reader in the Department of Business Law, Faculty of Law, University of Ilorin. She has been in the service of the University for more than a decade engaging in teaching, research, and administrative experience.

She has served as the Departmental Level Adviser and Sub Dean of the Faculty. Her areas of research interest cover Tax Law, Taxation of Capital Market and Investment Law, Commercial Law, and Labour Law.

She has to her credit 27 publications in reputable outlets covering journals, chapters in books, and edited conference proceedings. She has successfully supervised over 100 undergraduate students in various areas of law, over 20 master dissertations in law, and 3 PhD thesis. She has equally won a faculty-based senate research grant.

Dr Sa’adu is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria including the Nigeria Bar Association, International Association of Female Lawyers, National Association of Law Teachers, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, Society for Women in Taxation and West Africa Union Tax Institute.
